This is the more indulgent version of the classic Porto-to-Douro day trip: instead of one wine region, you visit two — Vinho Verde and the Douro Valley — both in the same day, with private tastings at family-owned estates in each.
Guides are WSET-certified (levels 1–3), and the tasting count reflects it: ten wines across the day, including Port, DOC Douro reds and whites, Vinhos Verdes, and an olive oil tasting at the table. One estate stop includes a small ceremony — a certified sommelier opens a bottle of Vintage Port using fire and the traditional Port tongs.
